To Sadie's mom- I could never even think of taking any of my dogs to a place like this. Out of 7 dogs they would all fall off the edge. She is so aware!!! mine would fall off from a combo of - curiosity, stupidity, lack of slowing down, or just plain clumbsy-ness!!! Sadie amazes me!
ReplyDeleteWhat you can't tell from the photo is how many times we yelled at her to get her butt back up on the trail! Ha! We really wanted to go on one particular trail but it was described as a very narrow ledge, and "venturesome children" were "strongly discouraged"! Needless to say, we decided that wouldn't be a good trail for her. I was talking to someone the other day and he said he took his 13 year old son on the trail and at one point the kid laid down on the trail and cried because he didn't want to go anymore--it was that scary! Good thing we didn't take her on that one!
